If like me you are crazy enough to sync Outlook to Google and Google to the iPhone, you may have found yourself with duplicate contacts on the iPhone (but not in Gmail or in Outlook) after the 3.0 software update. After a lot of agonizing (about deleting contacts and then having that ripple to the other services) I finally turned off contact synch for Nuevasync in the iPhone settings, which wiped out the iPhone contacts. Then I re-enabled it, and I ended up with just a single set of contacts, yeah! Please note that I did of course backup Outlook just in case, and so should you as well…
